If you always wanted to learn how to sew, but have been a little nervous or intimidated to begin, this class is for you!
Class meets once a week for 1.5 hours.
Class meets 4 times.
A new class with new students meets each month.
If you'd like to continue after your first month, an open-sew class (you choose your projects) is offered on Fridays from 10-11:30.
We will make the following projects from the book:
Bellflower pincushion (understanding seam allowance and learn some hand-sewing)
Sweetly Scented Sachet (learn to applique)
Handy Hand Towel (learn to attach buttons)
Quick Zip Pouch (learn to install a zipper)
We will reference the book, Sewing Basics, by Choly Knight. This is the perfect book for anyone who wants to learn how to sew, or just needs a quick refresher course.
