Mondo bag with Theresa Hanada
Pattern by QuiltSmart
Did I hear you say "If only I had room in my bag for one more thing..."? Theresa is here to help you create the perfect bag. She'll provide all the tips and tricks needed to use the Quiltsmart printed interfacing panels to make 1 Mondo Bag. You'll go home with perfectly-matched seams and a roomy, comfortable bag using Quiltsmart grid interfacing technique. Bag bottom is about 10in square with 17in tall sides.
FABRIC OPTIONS
There are many ways to approach this bag. A good option in to use your existing scraps but this will require much more prep time.
What I have found to be the easier path is to purchase a charm pack and a 1 1/4 yards of fabric for lining, handles and additional squares.
I also add an additional 1/4 yard of a contrast fabric for inside pocket.
That being said my most beautiful bags have been from new quarter yard cuts of hand selected fabric. Chose at least 7 fabrics for best result, but more is better. You will however have enough fabric for multiple bags if you go this route.
