Folded Star Hot Pad pattern – Plum Easy Pattern 

Description:

FUN EASY PROJECT FOR A QUICK HOLIDAY or HOSTESS GIFT.
Christmas fabric kits available.
Create intricate looking hot pads for any season that are easy to make. Using less than a total yard of combined fabrics, make hot pads with that “WOW” factor. Minimal sewing is required. 

The pattern and fabric requirements include:

• “Folded Star Hot Pad” pattern – Plum Easy Pattern, includes one template sheet
• Four fabrics, one will be your accent color – Fat eighth for Layer 1, 1/6 yd for Layers 2 -4, plus fabric for Backing, Binding and Hang Tag
• Batting – 10” square
• Insulbright – 10” square (optional)
• Project Time: 3+ Hours. 
• Fabric Types: Cotton, Batting, Insulbrite (optional)
• Project Type: Hot Pad 
• Finished Hot Pad: 8 in square, round or hexagon shape

PRIOR TO CLASS

Cut your fabrics prior to class per the measurements in the pattern, as noted below. Starch and press them prior to class.

• Layer 1 – (1) 2” square and (4) 3 1/2” squares
• Layer 2 – (8) 5” squares 
• Layer 3 – (8) 5” squares
• Layer 4 – (8) 5” squares
• Hang tag – 2” x 5” rectangle
• Backing – 10” square
• Batting – 10” square
• Binding – 1 ½” by 30”

CLASS TIME
I understand that doors open 10 minutes before class and end at the stated time when you registered. Please be respectful of the start time and only arrive 10 minutes prior to start time.  Sometimes there are classes beforehand or Trish and/or the instructor needs prep time. If you wish to make additional arrangements to continue working on projects once class ends at the stated time, please work out a time in advance with Trish.

DISCOUNT
I understand that once registered for a class, I am entitled to a 10% discount toward the required supplies for that class.  The discount is only valid BEFORE THE DAY OF class and not afterward.  

REFUNDS AND MAKE-UPS
Payment in full is required to hold a space. Spaces are not guaranteed without payment.  All classes purchased from TrishTacSew are non-refundable unless otherwise specified in writing. If you cannot make it to class, please let us know at least 4 (four) days in advance of date of class to receive store/class credit. A credit will be given and can be applied to a future class. PLEASE do not come to class if you are feeling ill. There are no re-funds for no-shows.  TrishTacSew reserves the right to cancel a class due to health reasons, low enrollment, or teacher emergency.  If a class is cancelled, students will be notified by email and/or telephone, and a class may be rescheduled, or a full refund will be made. There is not an option for individual make-up classes with group classes.
