DESCRIPTION
Join us for a fun evening of creativity, laughter, and learning at our Me & Mom Teen Sewing Night (ages 11 and up). This beginner-friendly class is designed for teens and their favorite grown-up to spend quality time together while learning basic sewing machine skills and creating a fun project to take home.

Bring your own sewing supplies or purchase one of our convenient project kits, which included everything you'll need to complete the "It's a cinch bag".  No prior sewing experience is required - we'll guide you every step of the way!

Whether you're making memories, learning a new skill, or simply enjoying a night out together, this class is the perfect opportunity to stitch something special side-by-side. I'd love to make this like a monthly club, where we sew a different fun, small project each month!

Please leave your machine at home.  We will learn on our Janome classroom machines. Every teen and Every Adult will have their own machine on which to sew. 

• Class begins at 6:00 pm
• Class ends at 9:00 pm
• We will take a lunch break around 12:30 pm

• (4) 100% woven quilting cotton Fat Quarters (18" x 22")
  (4) pieces of 27" ribbon or rope (1/2"wide)
  1 spool of 100% cotton thread
• sewing pins 
• Fabric scissors
• acrylic ruler 1.5" x 12" recommended
• hand-sewing needles
• seam ripper 

A Supply Kit is available for $54.95 and can be selected at checkout.  Mom and Teen can most definitely share a kit. :) It will have enough fabric for both of you. If you purchase a kit, it will be passed out during class.

CLASS TIME
I understand that doors open 10 minutes before class and end at the stated time when you registered. Please be respectful of the start time and only arrive 10 minutes prior to start time.  Sometimes there are classes beforehand or Trish and/or the instructor needs prep time. If you need or wish to make additional arrangements to continue working on projects once class ends at the stated time, please see our  sit and sew times and/or open sew with instructor classes.

DISCOUNT
I understand that once registered for a class, I am entitled to a 10% discount toward the required supplies for that class.  The discount is only valid BEFORE THE DAY OF class and not afterward.  

REFUNDS AND MAKE-UPS
Payment in full is required to hold a space. Spaces are not guaranteed without payment.  All classes purchased from TrishTacSew are non-refundable unless otherwise specified in writing. If you cannot make it to class, please let us know at least 4 (four) days in advance of date of class to receive store/class credit. A credit will be given and can be applied to a future class. PLEASE do not come to class if you are feeling ill. There are no re-funds for no-shows.  TrishTacSew reserves the right to cancels a class due to health reasons, low enrollment, or teacher emergency.  If a class is cancelled, students will be notified by email and/or telephone, and a class may be rescheduled, or a full refund will be made. There is not an option for individual make-up classes with group classes.
